Yep, when I visited Economy Mills a while ago, I promised to visit that old hog feed lot nearby, and I did, and amazingly, while I was out there taking photos, the gentleman whose father owned the feed lot drove by and said Howdy. I explained to him what I was doing and he shared some of his memories with me. That kind of thing can only happen in Lubbock, Texas.
This place has been cleaned really well. There is no trace of any odor. It used to be pretty bad, frankly.
I used the Kodak's modest zoom feature to capture the underpass.
This is not a residential area, obviously.
While I was there I got more shots of Economy Mills. I see no reason to return to this site. I can cross it off my list.
