Back In Lubbock, Skulking Around Town

Checking out more odd, and out-of-the-way places.

This is only a few miles from where we live! We are rather close to the boonies.

We really hate to see areas like this "developed".

We'd like to preserve urban decay.

Folks with anti-social tendencies and various personality disorders need places to live, too.

The areas we like to photograph are good places to be crazy in, just as some other places might be good places to raise your kids up in. But why couldn't you raise up your kids in places that are also good to be crazy in? Answer that.

Imagine what it might be like to live among ruins like these.

The folks who live out here are probably very interesting!

People out here have some collectible cars, even though they are not in running condition. But they let their old cars rust away. They are probably not very materialistic.

Don't tread on me! You find a lot of Texicans out here, ready to secede. Just give them the rallying cry!

To Seguin From San Marcos

We are on the road.

It is pretty country, with the occasional junkyard.

Traffic is not too bad.

You do spend a lot of time waiting at train crossings.

 You wait and you wait.

But now we are in Seguin, a city with traffic lights at every intersection, or so it seems.

I had not seen Seguin in many years. I remembered nothing. Nothing seemed familiar.

If I never see Seguin again, I would be OK with that.
Now we are looking at land that used to be in the family. I remember it only vaguely.

 Back in Seguin.

Leaving Seguin, now.
