Lingering In The Garden

Fascinating. I should make it even bigger.

I'd like to turn most of the backyard into a garden like this.

I suspect, though, that I would have problems with Lubbock's codes and zoning people. Some people love to tell other people what to do and how to live. I understand that sometimes you have to have restraints. But what could be wrong with a large garden?

If the heat wave ever breaks, I might try adding some other stuff, out in the city, but it's just too darned hot to do a photographic expedition right now. So I will just do more of this stuff.

Still In The Garden

Lots of pics. Too lazy or apathetic lately to photograph anything else. Too hot, as well.
 The deep and dark jungle.

The birds don't want their pictures taken.
This is a weed but I don't care.

This is Milo, I think. It was in the seed mix.

Dead leaves.

I might as well add that I'm still using the weights. I've added Jefferson Deadlifts to my routine. I think now I'm using every kind of squat and deadlift known to man, with barbells and dumbbells. Why not? Gotta be strong like ox, like bull, to take pictures.

I've got a long way to go with this garden stuff.

Warning! Garden! Garden!

Maybe this weekend I will get some other kinds of pictures to mix in with this stuff. Until then, we continue with the growing things.

There's plenty of that.

On a small scale, it's jungle, dark and deep.

A lot of birds hang out here, but they don't sit still for a photo, and seem camera shy. I keep trying.
