Now More Lubbock

More pictures now of Lubbock, Texas for the people yes. Free.

These were taken in one of our favorite parts of town.

Plenty of stuff to feast the eyes upon!

Plus, on a Sunday afternoon, it is so peaceful in these places.

The TWIN TUMULTS of industry, and of commerce, have fallen silent. All is deserted.

AHHHHH! Next time, we show an entire Lubbock neighborhood undergoing demolition and destruction. It is progress, or so they say.

 

Bits Of New Home, Bits Of Lubbock

Not quite finished with New Home. I found some more pieces. After that, some bits of Lubbock.

We photographed the heck out of little New Home, but I believe this is it. And then we found ourselves back in Lubbock.

A good place to rest some weary bones...

 I think we were out on North University somewhere. But we travel all over and months pass before the pictures I take ever get posted. Memory grows dim.

Now, here we are in Wilson! I recognize this ruin! We must have passed through the tiny town of Wilson again!

My next group of photos are better organized, and I think we will have a better idea of where we are. Until then, don't get lost.
 

Looking For A New Home??

How about New Home, Texas?

Then again, maybe not?

The place does seem a little deteriorated around the edges.

New Home is what it is. Like Popeye, it can't be no more. 

Love it or leave it, as they say.

 
We left New Home. We saw enough. More than enough! We have no desire to ever return. We left New Home for the New Homers.  No more New Home for us.
