Too Cold This Morning

 But there's plenty of sunshine. It'll warm up. 

I wonder whether, in a typical day, I exchange as many as a dozen words with anyone? In total?

Not Bad At All Today

 Only a few things to do. Not much will involve other people and that's good. 

In most cases it is wise to avoid people. I'm happy to be in a position to do that, pretty effectively. 

Improving Weather

 We're getting some relief from wintery conditions this week. 

I've been feeling very remote from life-- disconnected. That's precisely what I want. I'd like to maintain that but I have to be realistic. There will be a disturbance of some sort and then I'll do what I can to quell that disorder, that perturbation, so that I can return as quickly as possible to the status quo, of distance and lack of engagement. 

Clear Skies

 The rain stopped at last and it's looking good. I hate that cloudy, cold, wet, crap. 

Too Wet

 Too much rain. Not hard rain but just off and on light showers under cloudy skies. Slop, in other words. No snow, and that's good, but the wet slop I can do without. Is this going to be a wet winter? Say it ain't so. 

But this slop should be ending this afternoon. The sooner the better. 

It WAS Thanksgiving

 So far the winter storm has not produced much precipitation here, in any form. The wind chill is uncomfortable and the clouds make it gloomy. I never do the Black Friday nonsense and I'm well-stocked with everything I need this weekend. 

Thanksgiving was pleasant, thanks to family connections here, and I'm grateful for those connections!
