Continuing Economy Mills

Whenever I drive anywhere I either see places we visited or see new places to visit and photograph. We used to go somewhere every weekend. I have to get back in that habit. Hard to do. Recovery from the loss of a loved one is impossible. At best, you find ways to adapt. I'm still trying to adapt.

I saved all of the photos we took together. The new stuff, the things I'm doing solo, I consider disposable. There is no reason at all to preserve the solo efforts. There aren't going to be any good memories in this new stuff. It's just something I'm doing to kill time, to stay occupied.

Had to use the telephoto for the pics of this train.

I hope this stuff looks bleak enough. It was a bleak day. By the way, Lubbock High School Class of 1955 is having their 63rd Reunion this weekend, here in Lubbock, and I will be there to document it. So many have fallen, including my wife. How long can these gatherings go on? The pics I take at this reunion will go up on a blog I've got, devoted to LHS Class of 1955.  This work will keep me busy for a while, at least.
I think I will finish Economy Mills next time. I still have the photos in my Canon to post. Looks like there might be a delay getting everything up.
