The weekend should be very good. It might also be windy but that's nothing new. It's almost always windy in this region. So be it.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Very Nice!
Seasonal weather and plenty of sunshine. Not a cloud in the sky. Moderate breezes.
It's all quite orderly around here.

SOSO In Terms Of Weather
I note a wind direction from the south this morning. I've got a handy windsock right outside the window. Not a strong wind, either. It's a bit on the cool side. Happy to have the Thanksgiving holiday over and things returning to normal for awhile. Next bump in the road will be Christmas, and after that New Year's and then clear sailing for a few months. I have mixed feelings about major holidays.

Clear And Crisp
It warms rapidly and I was comfortable in a t-shirt this morning, though it was below freezing. There was ample sunshine and very little wind.
It is a fine morning for a lentil dish: diced tomatoes, chopped onion, EVO, oregano, a "Greek" seasoning mix I like very much, brown rice, and lentils of course. I can prepare such meals in a microwave. Lentils and rice are easy to do in a microwave oven. I will put a dollop of sour cream on top when I have it for lunch. Maybe sprinkle on some Paprika. My shoulder improves day by day, as well. My conditioning exercises are quite good.

A Bit Wintery This Morning
Above freezing though, and cloudy with rain possible later. No snow, no ice, and plenty of sunshine tomorrow. It's not as windy as it was yesterday and the wind is more easterly and southeasterly. Yesterday it was straight out of the north and quite strong. Monday it should be drying out and warming again.
This would be a good day to make cornbread, and I think I'll do that. I make it on the stovetop. I have a skillet that works very well for this purpose. I think I could make bread in it and someday I'll try it.
