A fine morning! A thunderstorm east of us provided cool outflow winds and dark clouds and distant rumbles. It was good to be on the patio with my wine, surrounded by lush vegetation, in privacy, and savor the outdoors. And this morning it was partly cloudy, and quite cool, and it seems that mild temperatures and pleasant breezes will be with us, and chances for similar storms this evening are good. One goes ah. And two go ah ah, and so on. Ah ah ah. Can you have too many? I think not. I did well in the gym yesterday, too. Strength gains at my age are gratifying. I was gratified.
At this very moment, I enjoy iced coffee. I still have windows open, and cool and fresh air circulates, but it is beginning to warm and it will be a warm day. Not hot. But warm. I have a large window near me, in this, my office. I look out that window upon a wall of green, green and growing things that will, by late summer, reach up to the eaves of this house-- a wall of stems and leaves, with complexities of light and shadow within. More ah. More AH! It pleasures me!
