Does believing shit make people happy? There's a lot of shit one can believe in, you know. A lot of that shit is mutually exclusive, because some shit is held to be good and true, and other shit is held to be bad and not true. And many people are happy to assert that the shit they believe in is better than the shit you believe in. Well, if I want knowledge, I think science is my best bet. Science, the methods of scientific inquiry and the resultant data and theories, is as good as it can get. Yes, science is as good as it gets, and the rest is of very low epistemological quality, let us say, to be more polite about it.
