Not Getting The Worst Heat

 The worst heat is off to the east. That might change but for the time being we are not having any record highs. One can cope with current conditions. 

Rain Overnight!

 It was cloudy and humid most of the day yesterday but the rain last night seems to have been fairly substantial. I won't need to water tonight. That was excellent. We approach the month that honors Octavian, or Augustus, one of the Roman Empire's best. 

Thunder In The Night

 Lightening and noise and wind, but no rain. Maybe the same again tonight, and maybe rain this time. It will be a hot weekend. 

That weekend exists, but it has yet to be experienced. The winter of 2025 exists, but I have yet to experience it. When I do experience it, I will know what is there, what has always been there, and what will always be there. 

That Heat Dome Thing

 Yes, it's time for the heat dome, but it seems not to be centered over us. So, it is not as hot as it COULD be. 

In fact, our temperatures are moderating. Not as hot today as it was yesterday. And not as hot tomorrow as it will be today, and so on. 

Hot And Dry

 That big wheel keeps on turning. Good to know that EVERYTHING is temporary. The purity of nothingness, the perfection of non-being, awaits. Existence is temporary and a mere aberration. It will be swallowed up and the nonsense will come to an end, and it will be as though it never happened. Undoubtedly we are living within a freakish temporary anomaly.
