Deep South Texas, along the Rio Grande Valley gets far too much rain and is experiencing flooding. We sit in a deepening drought and get nothing. Par for the dismal course. That's life in this misbegotten universe. It's a crap shoot. I did a lot yesterday and have only a few more tasks today. Warming and no rain but fortunately no dust in the air. We did experience heavy fog yesterday morning. Whoopee. Let's celebrate. But a rain like some areas have recently experienced would be catastrophic for Lubbock. Most of the city would be underwater, I suspect. I don't think anything like that, a truly massive rainfall of 15 to 20 inches in a relatively short period of time, has ever happened here, and I hope it never does. But, since it's all a crap shoot, the next role of the dice...

No Rain.

Still Warm Slight Rain Chances
At least we had a little humidity this morning. I did a lot today. Maybe we'll get some rain later, maybe tomorrow? Slim to none, probably.

Excellent Weather
Every day I work outside, and spend quality time outdoors. It is good for me. And I like it.
The meadow grass is thriving! I will have fields of grain again. I should look into harvesting that stuff. The seed is delicious, very nutty and no doubt highly nutritious. Our ancestors looked to things like that for survival. They were not candy asses. Now, nearly everyone is a fat, stupid, candy ass.
