The Norther!

 A cold turn, but not VERY cold and not much, if any precipitation in any form is likely. Fine with me. I have a feeling that 2025 will be the hottest year on record, and that 2026 will top that, and so on. Anthropocene extinction event unfolding? Maybe not. Maybe just a tremendous die-back. A great cascade of deaths among all animal species, and the survivors must adapt to a greatly changed planet. But this is neither here nor there. I like to live in the past anyway.

Another Nice Day!

 For February, this weather is fantastic! 

All of these photos were taken last summer, and I'll continue with last summer, and into the latter parts of 2024. All is dead now. Very much unlike this, but I hope for another jungle this summer. I like some jungle here and some meadow there, and an island wherein to chill and enjoy an iced drink or two. 

Plenty Warm!

 Very pleasant weather for February and nothing very extreme in the long term forecast. I like that.

SUN!

 Lots of sunshine today and more record highs. At this time of year record highs are very comfortable. I got a LOT done. It feels great to be outside. 

Next week it will turn cool, but not very cold. I guess our only real problem is that it has been very dry.
