Even More To View At 6th & Q

The usual scenic wonders. Lubbock has so much to offer!

People dump all kinds of stuff. Just stick it in the alley.

This office furniture got banged up bad. What kind of business is this anyway?? Somebody with a rage disorder?

More of these genuine and authentic Lubbock scenes next time!

Some Things To View At 6th & Q

Construction, remodeling-- kind of a hotel area here.

Seems like they've been working on this hotel for ages. Still not done!

It was nice and quiet on a gloomy Sunday morning.

I wandered off to an alley nearby. There's something about an alley. I just like 'em. More of this next time.

Finishing Buddy Holly Hall

It does look interesting.

I can tell you already that I will never go to any kind of performance there. I just don't do that anymore.

Partly, I don't like crowds. Mostly, no interest.

I might be out here again when it is complete, but not at any time when it is open. I got more pics from 6th Street Sunday morning, and those will be going up soon.

Continuing Buddy Holly Hall

It seems to be nearing completion-- maybe this winter?

The usual debris.
 More debris.
 Pipes!
 Section o' pipe...
 What it will look like!
Pretty neat!
This is the thing that will attract attention! But before they come, it must be built. More construction photos next time and I will finish this series. Getting ready for another one.

More Of Buddy Holly Hall

It was really windy when I took these pics. Hard to hold the camera still.

I found one of those "Lubbock Angels" trapped under the fence.

LHUCA is nearby, which might have something to do with "the arts" here in Lubbock.

 Infrastructure is always fascinating.
Buddy Holly Hall will be for the performing arts. Active and kinetic and auditory type things.
It was so windy a block of high density foam insulation blew off and landed outside the fence. A bead of construction adhesive was not able to hold it. I put it in my car and took it home, as a memento. More of this next time.
