And here are some of the first of the new pics. I took these in our "weed" garden. They sure have grown tall!

Now that the rain is over it has become very hot. And mosquitoes are out in full force. The city has made a lot of noise about spraying for mosquitoes but so far they do not appear to have done anything. Probably all efforts are focused on Tech Terrace.
That rain was over a week ago and I still have not finished the pictures. I've got some I could call "Lubbock AFTER the Rain" so I'd better try to complete the rain series soon!
I used one of my very own personal drones to take aerial views of a playa lake, to show what it is supposed to look like when it is full. It was nothing but a small pond before the rains came.
It is getting hard to use this blogger interface, for some reason, but let me try these pics, of Lubbock during our recent rains...
