Wind And Dirt

 It's another big wind day in Lubbock and everyone eats shit-- it does not matter who you are. Live in Lubbock and you WILL eat shit. 

On a day like this, you can have your dirt sandwich while you are still alive. Isn't that neat? If you call life in this city living...

Kind Of Cloudy

 

There is a bit of humidity in the air! Also a little cool. But rain it will not. No, no rain today. But we have the tease. Dust in the air, as well. Always. It is looking like a very dry summer. 

I had fried catfish today for the first time in a long time, and it was very good. 

Getting Warmer

 Finally getting warmer but rain is not in the forecast. Killer drought, looks like. Where is El Nino when we need it? Will an El Nino even help us? I wonder what hurricane season will be like? Only very rarely will a Gulf hurricane send any moisture our way. In any case I have lots of work to do around here. There is plenty to keep me busy. 

Cold Front

 But it could be worse. Too damn cold, however. Sunny. Shit for brains weather machine. BRAINLESS PU. INHUMAN PU. HEARTLESS PU. Pray for pizza! The "natural order" is a crap shoot. Fine tuning my ass. In your dreams. I expect to get more work done today, despite the norther. 

Less Wind

 Warmer weather is on hold for a while, but at least winds will be lighter. No rain in prospect, so why not pray for piss? Pray for piss! Plizzz!

And a mighty roar of laughter was heard by all. 

More Sun

 It is getting warmer and it won't be quite so windy today. No prospect of rain. Lubbock and surrounding area continues to dry up. It is so very very dry. Not even Uri Geller will help, if there still is a Uri Geller. He used to work out with barbells! He could bend a spoon! If I am not mistaken, he prayed for rain! Or maybe it was piss. Surely, he prayed for something.
