This fine weather continues.
And it really is very fine.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!
This is a significant cool front. Somewhat chilly outside and very damp, but not dripping wet. No heavy rain but rather a heavy mist situation. Later next week it changes to warm days and chilly mornings, and mostly partly cloudy. That will be rather nice. That sort of weather could carry us into mid-September, and those conditions are really ideal for this time of year. Much work can be done!
Power out, emergency vehicles. Another drunk driver and another power outage but it was brief. From now on, I refer to Lubbock as the city of drunks and druggies. City of Drunks! City of Druggies! I wish it was still the City of Mums. But those days of relative innocence are gone for good, the little ones. And God will stuff the bullet holes with candy. Lorca.
It's part of the seasonal temperature roller coaster. Another system arrives this weekend and temps moderate yet again, with at least some rain chances. The ground is still soaked, however.
We are told that in heaven everything is fine. Here we have fine evenings and fine mornings and days that are warm rather than hot, and I have accomplished so much I can chill out this fine Labor Day. You know, I have not worked at a job, as such, in the sense of being on a payroll, in over twenty years, but I've been active and productive every day. No slug-a-bed am I, nor am I a couch potato, and I never have been such a one. I can't sit still that long. I have to be doing something. If I am not doing something with my body I am doing something with my brain, but frequently both at once.
