Continuing Brownfield

And while I'm on the topic of Brownfield, let me switch briefly to Idalou. My wife and I went to an estate sale in Idalou this weekend. That is another small town I like. I could be happy there. Terrific neighborhoods, zoned and maintained in a rational manner, friendly folks. I found an old Dorset watch, in a diver's style, with rotating bezel, wind-up, Speidel USA band, Swiss movement, shock resistant and water resistant to 50 meters, for 50 cents! It works perfectly, keeping accurate time. The crystal has a few scratches but maybe a jeweler can polish them out. I have a collection of watches and this is a nice addition.
