Severe Storms

 I noticed clouds gathering late in the afternoon and they quickly developed into severe storms. I got rain, and not much of that, but other areas got pounded with flooding rain and large hail and damaging winds. There were also a lot of tornado warnings. It was a wild night of weather. But now it should be just hot. A hot week. Lower humidity would really help. I've learned recently that illegal dumping is rampant in Lubbock, but the city refuses to remove anything that has been illegally dumped. They've defunded Solid Waste to the extent that they lack the manpower and resources to remove the crap some people dump. The city has no problem spending on glamor projects, but the nuts and bolts of civilized society they ignore. No surprise, because our city government is packed with right wing morons. Conservative equates to shit-for-brains. Conservatives serve themselves, and that's it. No public service, but only self-service. It's basically: I've got mine and fuck the rest of you. 

Lubbock is going to the dogs. Like the country!!
