... you are not saving. Two for one is not saving. Spending on any consumable is not saving, buying anything with a value that will depreciate is not saving. Saving is NOT spending and it IS putting money in a place where it will work for you, earning interest or dividends. It's that simple. If old stuff is still getting the job done, keep that stuff, until it is worn out, and use it until it is worn out. Take care of what you have, so that you do not need to repair it or replace it. Ignore fashions, ignore fads, and don't compare yourself to others. Compare yourself to your goals, like, have you learned what you wanted to learn, or have you met savings goals, and the like. A good goal is to be free of debt and to stay free of debt. And so on. You ought to be able to wear stuff from Goodwill or other thrift shops and feel very good about yourself. Remember that most of the people around you are hopeless idiots and resolve not to be like them. Nice weather continues with temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above normal (F). I really like this a lot!
I just posted that stuff above because I've been irritated by certain bank ads. Try to be the sort of person that bankers and credit card issuers hate. Because they are not making any money off of you. Let the banks pay you, and make sure you never pay a dime of interest to any credit card issuer. There are plenty of fools out there, more than enough to make businesses and banks happy and fat. You don't have to be one of those fools.
