Science denialism will march humanity right off a cliff, but if you are insane and or stupid you can't see it. Stupid is a very, very, dangerous disease. I wish we had a vaccine for stupid. Measles is certainly marching on, claiming more innocent victims every day. Polio can't be far behind. Oh well. Failed species are not at all uncommon. It's nature's way. It's nature's way of taking out the trash.
Warmer and warmer but some windy conditions will appear mid-week. Windy conditions are normal around here.
It was not as cold yesterday as the forecasts had it, we had no snow, no ice, no extreme cold, but only a little light rain. It was a rain so light that it barely qualified. Sunny skies and warm temps all this week. DST! As usual, I'll ignore that nonsense.
Not really all that cold though, just cloudy and windy and somewhat cool. It should be all over by Sunday. I want to make another prediction: next launch of Starship will be an unqualified success, a very great step forward in the race to establish a human presence on Mars. To Mars! And beyond! From Mars to the stars! And, I always did like Mars Bars. Do they even still make those things?
Saturday might not be so nice, but that winter thing probably won't last very long. I accomplished a lot yesterday! That always makes me feel good. I made a prediction recently and lo! It came true. Very satisfactory.
