Drones The Size Of A Buick??

And authorities tell people not to be worried? A drone that big could easily be carrying fifty pounds of fentanyl, to be released and dispersed by the whirling blades above. Something is screwy here. The entire narrative is screwy. If people with bad intentions are assembling these things, then they are having to order the materials necessary, although I have no idea where you could get a battery for drones that size, but orders of large carbon fiber components should show up on the radars of "intelligence" agencies, and the needed electronics, etc. Sometimes "intelligence agency" is an oxymoron. The whole drone panic sounds made up to me. In the 1890's airships of some sort were being reported all over the country. This drone thing smacks of the same sort of hysteria. I think it's silly.

I miss the old flying disks.

Drones?

You hear so much lately about drones or UAPs all over the place, and I guess it just goes to show what a nothingburger Lubbock is, that we seem to have no drone activity here. You've got the nuclear weapons facility near Amarillo, and there are no reports of drone activity in that area. We are so unimportant, that not even Bug Eyed Monsters or Green Beans from Venus, have the slightest interest in us. What a bummer. I believe there's a SAC base near Abilene, and nothing there either. So sad. I take it that we are unlikely to be beamed up anytime soon, if ever.

I guess we'll just have to wait for, get ready-- the rapture! HAHAHAHA! A famous joke, yes? I think it is more likely that the BEMs will get you. By the way, is it possible that there could be a kind of open season on billionaires and corporate executives in the near future?? Would that be dystopian or not? I'm really not sure. Pros and cons.

Cooler Today And A Little Cloudy

Not all that bad though. Saturday looks to be very nice. Cooler next week. Not all that bad though.

I call this winter, even though it isn't. It's winter when it gets cold, as far as I'm concerned. Solstice coming up though.

Our Nice Weather

It continues, with no great change in sight.

But it's a little too cloudy for my taste. More sunshine would be good.

Moderate Rock?

No, but moderate temps are set to continue into December, and that's alright with me. The less winter we have the better I like it. Maybe the Arctic blasts and bomb cyclones and polar vortices will stay north of us this winter. That, too, would be alright with me. It hasn't frozen hard enough yet to inhibit growth. I'm not so sure that that will prove to be a good thing, but we'll see. I'm spending a lot more on sunflower seeds because the finch colony I've been sustaining consumes more food during cold weather. I'm OK with that. I've been enjoying Leonard Susskind lately, lectures at Stanford University I can watch on YouTube. I love this stuff. Lectures from the Institute for Advanced Study are not always my cup of tea, unless they involve physics. Pure math is too much for me, but it's there and it's amazing to have access to such things, so easily. Smart kids can find wonderful things. I had to make do with books, as a relatively smart kid, but it would have been nice to have the kinds of instruction one can find today on the internet. Of course, there's a lot of horse manure floating around too. And online courses are available! A smart and curious person can learn just about anything today. Not so smart and somewhat deranged people can get their brains stuffed with even more twisted and silly crap. That's not so good. Oh well.

Examples of twisted and silly crap: flat earth tomfoolery, celebrity "math", fundamentalist/young earth creationist fantasy, and things of that sort. THAT'S garbage.
