Cool Mornings Warm Days

Maybe I complain too much about the local climate. It isn't always bad. This time in May, this year, happens to be quite pleasant. Cool mornings and warm days. And we did have fairly substantial rain recently. My private jungle is growing like gangbusters. Next week I'll have to do a lot of watering to keep everything green and growing. I like to water. I've made a lot of improvements for the sake of privacy and security and what I consider beauty and interest. I'd like to have an old tractor parked in the middle of the backyard, or a vintage auto, rusting away. I could afford to do it, but that seems extravagant. Who knows what the future would bring? Save! Be frugal! Avoid extravagance! Prepare for that "rainy day". And all that other wise and prudent stuff. I like to be wise and prudent as much as I like to water. I like to water. Pray for water! I enjoy doing good deeds! Pray for good deeds!

You know what? Faith is shit. You can take your faith and shove it up your bleeding ass, for all the good it does. Whatever it happens to be. ACTIONS count. And nothing else.  I truly despise "people of faith". They're fucking worthless.

Weather So Good

It's just about right. Nice and cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon with plenty of sunshine. Still keeping the outside world at bay, to the extent I can. Almost got into a wreck yesterday due to a hot rodding moron hell bent on passing a slower motorist who swerved into the hot rod's lane.

A lot of drivers seem distracted. I wonder if I should blame the "smart phone" plague?

It's Warming Up

Pleasant temps and moderate breezes, at least for a while. Warm weekend coming up. Cinco de Mayo here, and nice weather for it. That's good. We should be close to a record high for this date but dry air will make it comfortable. I appreciate the sunshine. I don't think I am on ERCOT yet. I dread the day when I am on ERCOT. I've added a new link at the bottom, to AronRa, addressing a collection of idiots and bigots in the Texas Cesspool (legislature). Well said!

Competition means chaos and corruption. The market place is a sick joke and the "invisible hand" is the hand of a grotesque puppet.

It Rained Again

Maybe Uri Geller finally picked up my desperate pleas, and like bending a spoon, squeezed precious drops of moisture out of the air, out our way. Maybe this would be a good time to pray for peace! HAHAHAH! In your dreams, fool. You are more likely to suffocate in a vat of PEAS! Yes pray for peas.

For it is written, of peace they shall have none, but of peas they MIGHT have some.

It Rained Last Night

Thunder and lightening and rain but no hail. That was a treat! A "rain freshened" morning is rare. My jungle is coming back. I have not mentioned "the animals" in a while. I have more and they are doing well. Hard luck cases for the most part but getting the care they need. Probably I should have been a veterinarian. Inevitably, you lose some. There's only so much one can do. And they do all get vet visits. See, by doing this I thumb my nose at the natural order. Fuck the natural order-- truly the natural order, the physical world, or the PU as I like to call it, is a tale told by a blithering idiot. It's the house that Jack built, and Jack had shit for brains, and no heart at all. That's a Gnostic sentiment.
