Closer Looks 13

The dust was up yesterday, the air was dry, and today there is a chill in the air. Maybe climate change will turn the southern tier of states into barren desert. That would be an appropriate fate for a moral, cultural, and intellectual wasteland. Wouldn't it? Not MY problem, in any case. There's a lot to be said for living in one's twilight years. Especially when the future looks so amazingly bleak. It's good, then, to not have much future to worry about. The past! Look to the past!

How green were my valleys then! Hey, the sunflowers are coming up again!

Closer Looks 12

I rummage around in that digital book of memories...

Closer Looks 11

Nice enough day yesterday but no rain. Texas burns. And the bleep goes on.

Yes, the BLEEP goes on, and on, and on...

Closer Looks 10

I got my second Moderna booster yesterday. It was quick and easy and I feel fine. 70% of seniors in this country have not even had their first immunization?? I simply don't understand that.

This stuff-- I have no way of knowing whether any of it is still there, wherever "there" was. Sometimes I remember where we were and sometimes I don't.

Closer Looks 9

 Comforting and old stuff.

Of days these were so much better.
