Dare One Hope??

"Trump Aide Hope Hicks Tests Positive for Coronavirus Infection!" That's interesting. Hope Hicks has been in close contact with Trump and most of his staffers and top people. Coronavirus might make the election moot, and get rid of the Orange Asshole nature's way. "It's nature's way of telling you-- something's wrong..." VERY wrong. Yes, one can always hope...

Why Not More Garden?

 Why not?

When I'm finished with this it'll be more Lubbock sights and scenes.

But there is a lot more garden to go.

More Looks At The Garden

Much better than looking at the Orange Asshole, who was on full display last night.

This is much saner.

More of this next time.

Garden Such As It Is

It just never thrived this summer. Too hot and too dry. Nothing thrived this summer. The heat and drought were tough on everything.

What's there to do but escape into a microcosm, and try to find the macrocosm lurking there? The universe isn't so much like a beanstalk, but more like a Mandelbrot set. At least, that's one idea. Ideas are cheap. Knowledge will cost you.

I'm ready for a change of seasons, in more ways than one.

Garden Vistas

Vistas, such as they are. Hard to find anything like a "vista" in this neck of the woods, where there are no woods, no rivers to speak of, pitiful excuses for lakes, no elevation differences of any consequence, and, worst of all: no rain! No rain no rain no rain. No rain in over three months? No prospects of any rain in any extended forecast? The high plains of Texas. Yeehaw. It's desolation row.

In times like these, such desolation and drought seem appropriate.

When your country is ruled and controlled by vipers, every additional bit of desolation fits right in, making a consistent picture. The fact that those vipers are also stupid and crazy and corrupt in varying degrees certainly does not help.
