Before We Do That Nostalgia Thing

Some views of a cotton seed processing plant, or cotton oil mill. Cotton is a big deal in these parts. Cotton farmers are the biggest and baddest welfare queens on the South Plains! I mean, they get a LOT of government money. I doubt that most of them could survive without it.

So this place produces a lot of cotton seed oil. If it produces anything else I do not know. I've been driving past it for many years. Finally decided to take a close look.

More of this next time. By that time probably over 600,000 cases in the US. The god emperor assumes zero responsibility. Of what use is a god emperor if it isn't responsible for anything? What then does the god emperor DO?? COVID-19 is no hoax but the Trump presidency smells like one. Smells like a clusterf*ck in a sh*thole to me. Of course, I've never liked scam artists, or hustlers, or other white collar trash either.

Let's Finish This Alley

Then I'll do a lot of nostalgia stuff.

I did get some more new pics, though. Did that Sunday.

That's that.

Still Checking Out That Alley

So calm. So peaceful.

Over 500,000 cases in the USA. Pretty good for a hoax, as the Orange Idiot described it. The Orange Idiot assured his cult that it would all go away. All gone by April. Cults die hard. Keep Jonestown and Waco in mind. The Orange Idiot has surrounded himself with butt-kissing incompetents. NONE of his minions live in the real world. This virus comes from the real world. They have no idea how to handle it. Denial and fantasy are all they have, much like FOX news. Oh well. By the way, cases in Russia increase very rapidly now. Putin wrestles bears, but a bug could lay the strong man low.

And whatever happened to American Exceptionalism? Weren't we supposed to be something special? This pandemic might shoot a big hole in that fantasy as well. We're looking more and more like a third world nation, thanks to the Orange Idiot and his cult. Oh well.

When I finish this alley series I'm going to go for some comforting nostalgia.

Views Of An Alley And From An Alley

And I should mention that at one time I had another blog for hobby activities, like guitars and RC planes. I will start to combine those blogs in this one. So, on this cool and cloudy and windy morning I got out my new AXN Floater Jet version 2 from Hobby King and got my third flight on it. It handled the windy conditions very well. This plane, though a powered glider with pusher prop, is fairly powerful and quite streamlined. Earlier trim issues were resolved. I'm using a 1400 mah 3 cell in it. I deactivated the rudder servo. I never use rudder with these planes, unless the plane is designed as rudder, elevator, and throttle control. I have a lot of other planes and eventually they will be mentioned here and I'll post pics. And the guitars will get involved as well. Meanwhile, from the alley:

I think this is some kind of art gallery type place-- this is the backyard, so to speak.

Power for the people.

It's-- The Alley

I'm really glad I spent so much time there. I hope I can find something equally interesting this weekend. The weather should be poor, and sometimes that helps

It might be another alley or I might find something else. I have several candidates in mind.

Most locations will require telephoto, but some don't. Location will determine choice of camera.

Sometimes I can find things behind fences, like this truck. The fence had gaps.
But we'll still be at this location next time.
