Waiting For The Cold Shot

 It won't be today, and it might not be tomorrow, but Tuesday and Wednesday look to be chill. After that it gets nice and warm again. No snow. No ice, and some sun. I can cope with that. 

I don't know whether I can cope with  a country run by a senile career criminal and an infantile goofball with delusions of grandeur. Caligula anyone? Nero? Tiberius? Trump as Tiberius and Musk as Caligula, two monsters ruling in tandem? The shit has truly floated to the top, and this will not end well. 

Life is like a steaming pile of shit, isn't it?

Cool Dry

 it's going to be a kind of climatic whiplash for us over the next week or so. We could be facing another bought of rather cold weather but before that, some warmer weather, and after the cold spell, warmer weather again. 

Make no mistake though-- 2025 is very likely to be the hottest year on record. 

Cold Wet

 Not cold enough for ice, but unpleasant. Light mist. Windy. Wintery. The sooner this ends the better. It should start improving tomorrow. It could be a week before we have any clear skies. 

I can't quite see myself complaining about heat this summer. 

Meanwhile...

 Our wintery weather continues, but it is not all that bad. Highs remain above freezing, precipitation has not been significant, and roads are safe. This has been a relatively mild January and February, in that we really haven't had much in the way of truly cold winter weather. And this latest event will be ending soon. 

My private garden was very lush last summer. It's always hard to believe that it can keep coming back, year after year. It looks quite dead at this time.
