Ah yes, we have more wind on the way but not so severe as what we had earlier. That was nasty. It will be quite warm today, and that will be good. Genetic testing reveals that my ancestry is overwhelmingly middle European, from the Rhineland, and a region of France that managed to remain pagan and Celtic for a long time, long after Christianity began to spread. I'm quite proud of that. And they were all products of the last major human mutation, that took place around 10,000 years ago. That's nice to know.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Lots Of Problems!
Yesterday's winds did a lot of damage in the area. Blew over semis! Caused accidents, power outages and fires when power lines went down. That sort of thing is not at all unusual in this part of Texas at this time of year. I got through it OK. No damage, just inconvenience. Actually, I've experienced conditions far worse than that.
I need to do a little cleanup because of windblown debris.

Big Wind! Big Dust!
Dust? More like DIRT. One of those days on the high plains of Texas. But it might not be quite as windy as forecast. That would be something, but the sky is turning orange. I watered yesterday, since I realized that it would be impossible today.
