Saturday will be somewhat wintery but it's going to be sandwiched between two relatively warm and sunny days. Not much, in other words. Maybe a little snow Saturday morning, turning to rain later, but not all that cold and we need the precip. Very dry around here. Measles marches on, thanks to some peculiar circumstances, some demographic oddities.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

ONE Day of Winter

Not So Windy
It's warmer today and better than yesterday. A bit of a cold snap in a few days but that does not last very long. Then back to warming.
Two hours of fulminating fuckwittery. I didn't tune in. This country is starting to look more and more like Russia. Americans and Russians seem to have a lot in common. Passive and quite stupid.

Windy Dusty
Nasty day but merely cool rather than cold. As always, it could be so much worse. Wednesday we start with a somewhat cold morning, near freezing, but winds should be much lighter.
He's still alive.

Very Pleasant Weather
The outbreak of measles rages on. Smallpox probably has been eradicated, but I still suspect that cases of polio will be appearing again. Anti-vaccination morons seem to think that vaccines cause disease, but polio predated the first vaccines by many years. Iron lungs vanished after vaccinations became common. Now, cases of polio are very, vary, rare-- you can thank vaccinations for that. But with the anti-vaccination morons rising up, like a swarm of zombies, that might change. Government by idiots and psychopathic billionaires will be a major catastrophe. In fact, the catastrophe is already in progress. It's just gotten started. Meanwhile, our weather is very pleasant.
I really doubt that human civilization will survive long enough for any humans to reach Mars, but if a group of pathetic losers actually make it to Mars to colonize that hostile planet, that colony will turn out to be the most expensive and inefficient death camp ever devised. But Elon's phallic symbol will probably launch again, and I look forward to yet another spectacular failure.
