Finishing Landa Park

This also wraps up New Braunfels 2020.

This area, too, is in a worsening drought.

So, eventually, I'll be examining Lubbock again. What a thrill that will be.

More Landa Park

Nothing like this would be remotely possible in Lubbock.

Buffalo Springs Lake is spring fed, true, but it's still an oasis in the middle of a virtual desert. It isn't very accessible either and you have to pay to get in.

I'll have to get some more pics soon. Maybe this weekend.

Landa Park In New Braunfels

The weather was very good and lots of people were enjoying the park.

This area has undergone a lot of improvements.

The springs are still flowing.

New Braunfels For Bleak Saturday

Bleak in Lubbock, in more ways than one.

We'll be in Landa Park next time. Lots of improvements there.

Some More New Braunfels For Thanksgiving

Although these photos were taken around Halloween.

I had some company. You see deer all over town. Herds in vacant lots and in backyards. You have to be very, very, careful driving in New Braunfels.

Deep regrets that the lot full of "junk" was vacant. The antique shop associated with all that stuff is no longer in business. That's a shame. A lot of that stuff I would have liked to hang on my fence by the patio. The only "ambience" worth having is that of a junkyard. There's nothing as sublime as a junkyard. You can keep your cathedrals. Give me a junkyard.
