Still Looking At Lubbock

I found where some of the data went when the interface changed-- still available but now a few more steps required. Maybe I'll learn to like the new look. Meanwhile, I can always look at Lubbock.

Lubbock is as Lubbock was, especially around this area.

This is just an old part of town, left behind.

The New Blogger Interface Can't be Evaded

They made it "smart" phone friendly, I guess. I like things more detailed and desktop friendly. Here's more Lubbock.

I have yet to meet a portable device I've been able to like. I guess I'm just old-fashioned. Maybe if I had the patience to learn how to use one I might find I like the things. But that'll never happen.

I'm just not keen on portable gadgets and have never liked their interfaces, like touch screens. But you can't fight progress, if it really is progress. I have a lot of doubts.

Lubbock Lubbock Lubbock

So the Orange Lunatic got nailed by reliable sources who revealed what he thinks of Arlington's dead: "losers and suckers". Now he's claiming that these sources are not only liars, they don't even exist! That would make a lot of sense to a trumptard. I'm amazed that people dumb enough to support trump at this point can even function well enough to find a crapper without assistance. I saw ONE house today with a trump 2020 banner on display, and I knew immediately that the person living there had to be a poor senile putz with drool running down his or her chin. Sad.

The last few years have taught me that many Americans are not only dumber than I'd ever imagined-- they are vastly dumber than I CAN imagine.

It would be nice to have a vaccine against trumptards. And then a vaccine against racist trash. But maybe one vaccine would take care of both...

Continuing With Lubbock

I really see no need to visit any of the small towns around here again. I think I'll just keep the pictorial focus on Lubbock.

Yep, I'll keep the focus on Lubbock.

Back To Lubbock!

At least, here in Lubbock, we have not yet had Phlotillas of Phools. Where would you find the water? Buffalo Springs Lake? That's out of the city limits and not a place where you can effectively and decisively demonstrate in public that one has shit for brains.

This morning I got some shots of an old, abandoned, car wash. I used a low tech cellphone camera because it was convenient and I want to see what I can do with low-quality pics. Yesterday's exercise has gotten easier. You just have to ignore the discomfort. It seems to be a pretty effective compound type exercise, giving one a lot of bang for the buck. I'd like to try it with a pair of hex dumbbells, using the crush grip to mash them together. I've got a pair of 35 lb dumbbells I want to try, but they are not hexagonal. Mashing them together and holding them in place might be more challenging. I can always drop back to a pair of hex at 25 lbs each.

As far as the phool phlotillas go, may their boats always sink.
