This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Nothing But Garden
Made fresh every day!
It is too bloody hot to get out and photograph anything else. Texas in the summer, in an era of human induced greenhouse warming, is not comfortable at all. Deny it all you want. Reality smashes ideology. Dipshit science denial eats death, and REALITY wins. Period. Ignore facts at your peril. Nature doesn't give a damn what you think, what you want, or what you believe. The laws of nature are what they are, and no amount of denial will save your punk ass.
Got birds in the garden, part of its purpose.
Ahhh, yes. More next time.

Mostly Sunflowers
Easy to photograph. Step out the back door and there they are.
I catch them in all stages of their life cycle.
They're also good for stupid photo tricks. I realize that I have little to no talent for photography. Of taste I have none also. Nor bananas at this time.
A few other thing manage to survive in this wild garden. More pics to come.

Still No Ruins And Yet More Garden
I get a lot of satisfaction out of the garden.
Lots of rain has really helped it grow.
Farmers around here used to grow sunflowers, in vast fields, but you don't see that anymore. I know cotton farmers get a lot of welfare. Maybe if you grow something other than cotton you don't get the welfare checks. Cotton farmers are among the biggest welfare queens in the country.
Maybe someday I'll have some more of those Lubbock scenes and sights.
