Outside The City Limits

Where a man can be free. Freedom seems to equate to piles of garbage, filth, junked cars. Ahhh.

Signs of FREEDOM are everywhere!

Freedom! The weeds grow tall and the trash piles up, the septic tanks leak and pollute the wells! Ah! The human spirit flourishes out in the boonies, and everything is transformed into toxic crap. There is nothing like freedom!

Outside the city limits, out in the County, these folks enjoy their freedom.

No darned old BIG GUMMINT is gonna tell these folks how to build a house! Or drill a well, or where to dump their crap. They are freeeeeee!

Wow. I kind of feel like setting off a fire cracker and waving the flag, don't you? We'll see more of this. Prepare to be inspired, out in the sticks, out in the County, outside the city limits, where you can be free. Take that, big gummint!

McKenzie Park and Municipal Drive

Taking a very close look, as usual.

This stuff is associated with the golf course.

Below, is a glimpse of Municipal Drive. Remember, the Munici is your pal.

I'll never forget this particular part of Municipal Drive, but it would be too complicated to explain. Next time, we'll explore some residential areas that are outside the city limits. No codes! No zoning! Anarchy! Trash and pollution and filth and squalor. Freedom from government interference in other words.

July 4th In Lubbock

Yeah, I'm that far behind. We examined preparations for "Fourth On Broadway", which has been relocated thanks to snotty people in North Overton. It used to be fun but now it's a pain. We did not attend. But this is what things looked like the day before.

It was HOT and the plastic tents smelled toxic. This was in McKenzie Park.

Plastic tents are not a good idea.

These areas would be packed with people, next day.

There I am, above, trying to imagine being entertained. I was not able to imagine being entertained. My bad.

We moved on, to other areas in the park.
