This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Before We Visit O'Donnell
Yes, after Tahoka, we visited O'Donnell and we took a lot of photos there. This was the home of Dan Blocker, and if you've ever watched Bonanza re-runs you know who he was. But first, let's take another look at Lubbock, downtown...
Lubbock's downtown area is home to government offices, attorney's offices, and ruins, for the most part. There are a few residences, both poor and ritzy.
For me, the alleys hold the greatest interest...
I don't think that's blood, but I might be mistaken...

Let Us Be DONE With Tahoka!
We can't avoid driving through Tahoka on Highway 87, but we will take no exits into Tahoka, and will remain safely on the highway. We will recall the stink of decaying animal flesh in Tahoka, and shiver, and drive quickly away.
If we knew anyone associated with PETA, we would contact them and urge them to examine Tahoka's animal "shelter"...
My wife and I are entitled to our OPINIONS, and in our combined and united OPINIONS, we find Tahoka to be a dismal excuse for a town. We base our opinions on things we saw (some of which we share here), and SMELLED. Be thankful we can't share the odor...
