See what I mean about green? Lubbock, on the other hand is a brown town, most of the time. We've had a bit more rain lately, and it is looking somewhat better than usual. But not as good as New Braunfels.

The predominant color in this part of Texas is GREEN. In Lubbock, almost everything is BROWN.
We were there for a while. It's not much like Lubbock.

At least, it looks like this on a really cloudy, really rainy, day. This can be a really humid place.
