Local Hotrods
Lubbock has some good car clubs. These pics were taken in the Depot District several months ago, at a charity auto show. These only scratch the surface. There were a LOT of sharp cars out there that day! My wife and I both like vintage autos.

Lubbock Windmills
You see a lot of windmills in this area. But not many are functioning-- they are mostly restorations for display and educational purposes. Here are pics of a few, some from the National Ranching Heritage Center and some from the Wind Power Center:
