Cooler mornings and only warm days, and plenty of that ahead with increasing rain chances next week. I work outside every morning, and it feels good.
We had some light ran overnight!
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

Social media. What a cesspool. What CRAP. So happy to be nowhere on twitter, on facebook, on youtube, and whatever else might be out there. This blog is innocuous enough and I have zero info concerning me here, or at least nothing of any interest. For all anyone knows, none of it is real. It could all be an entirely made up persona. I do this to archive some photos, actually, to preserve certain memories (if you can BELIEVE that). And that's it. I make no money here. I don't need to. I express opinions here, and the opinions are real. But they are only opinions. Today I did more work outside. Today I did some organizing. Today I did some legal research.
But I've had good news on a couple of fronts. Got the over-65 flu shot and Shingles booster. They were out of new Covid so I'll try again next week. It looks like a lot of people are being smart about vaccinations this time around. I'll need the second dose of Shingles vaccine and will schedule that same time as the Covid booster-- booster number three for me. SMART people are proactive on health issues.
Terrific weather now compensates for the past few months of monster heat. All goes well. Steady as she goes, and all that good stuff, as the HMS Indomitable sails on into the fog. I hope I'm not on the wrong ship. But it probably doesn't matter because there is only one destination.
Nice weather! The warmth is just right and the cool mornings with heavy dew are perfect for outdoor work and I did that this morning. I make great progress clearing away the summer's vegetation. It's very satisfying to work on the land, and I spoke recently with a woman who had Mennonite connections. It sounded like a very healthy way to live, although I would advocate for more education. You can still live a simple life on the land and at least finish high school. College, on the other hand is bloody expensive and would be useless.
Most of them are either at least neurotic, or batshit crazy.
