Checking Out Lubbock County

Again, out in the boonies, and finding more ruins.

Here is an old fallen down liquor store. There are a LOT of these things around. Lubbock sure was DRY, wasn't it? Now, there is no need for such things out of the city limits, and they have become ruins.

Another one! It was the Imperial Package Store. Not much is left of it now.

People lived out here, once.

Where did they go? Why were they out here? Who were they?

And then, there's always the oil-related stuff.

 The agricultural stuff...

And you always find old couches and mattresses out in the boonies. These things get dumped everywhere, and they never get removed.

Back in the city limits, we found the ruins of an old "assisted living" facility, or maybe it was a nursing home. Now it is full of ghosts and bad things.

That was a big update! I have many, many, more pics. We found more interesting things out in Lubbock County, and we visited Lorenzo. All those things are yet to come.
