I took these last week, when there was snow on the ground. You can see how bleak it was.

I continued to feed the birds.

I've just noticed that, frequently, my pictures are taken through some kind of fence.

So many pictures...

...but at last the sun shines and the snow melts! It is possible again to get out and DO things!

Continuing Random Images

I'm not even going to indicate anymore whether these are Lubbock images or something else. There is snow on the ground, more snow and ice is on the way, and there's no chance of getting out today. These things just fill time and space...

 

Continuing "Old Lubbock"

The sad thing is, we are in a deep and desperate drought here, and the frozen precip in the forecast does not even remotely begin to get us out of the drought. It would take several feet of snow to make a dent. And that is not going to happen. And if it did, that kind of snowfall would be a disaster in and of itself, since Lubbock is not equipped to deal with a snow event of that magnitude.
