Nothing like what we experienced a week ago. I got to the gym and I actually made gains, rather than losing ground. Probably because I worked out a lot with my free weights while I was stuck indoors.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

I Had A Lot To Do
There was a lot of catching up for me to do but I accomplished it all yesterday. I can start getting back to normal in terms of my daily routines and I'm no longer housebound, hemmed in by snow and ice and extreme cold. How I hate winter.
While I was stuck in the house I exercised more than I normally would, and that was a good thing, at least. I did a lot of jogging indoors, for instance. There are two exercises I just can't do at home: hip adduction and hip abduction, with high resistance, up to 160 lbs. And there's just no substitute for the gym machine I use for those exercises.

The Snow Melts Slowly
More sun today and warmer temps will help the process. I got the car out of the garage yesterday to get some things I ran low on during the siege and put a few miles on it to charge the battery-- cautious miles. I'll try more today, and yet more tomorrow. Winter sucks.
I will be happy to return to my normal routines. Everything has been disrupted since last week, Friday.

More Sun Still warming
The sooner all the snow melts the better. What a lousy weekend. I need things getting back to normal. How I hate winter. The winters seem to be getting worse. The only bright spot is that we needed the precipitation. I wish it had been in the form of rain. Simple rain.

Sunshine!
We are finally starting to warm and recover. What a lousy weekend that was. Too much snow. No ice storm and not much sleet but quite a lot of snow. It will take some time for that to melt. Maybe tomorrow we will be above freezing.
My preparations were adequate.
