We are getting heat relief. It was "vintage" again on the patio last evening. Rain chances are picking up as well. I can appreciate that.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

A HUGE Success!
Yes, just as I predicted, the latest mutation of Starship had an amazingly successful flight! To Mars! And beyond! Not. More like a drugged up lunatic's insane dream... but the lunatic has an obscene amount of money to waste on garbage like Starship, and an ego the size of the Titanic. I hope that ego suffers a fate similar to that of the doomed Titanic.
Or, crash and burn, like Starship. More like burn up and THEN crash. Or explode. And crash.

Storms Rain Cool
Wild night of weather yesterday that began in the evening. Some quite severe storms in the area. I got lots of rain and today it is cool and cloudy and wet, with winds from the north and east. Nice! Memorial Day is usually hot and dry. Not this time.
If any locals want to have a picnic somewhere, they won't be very comfortable and they might get rained on. I heard lots of emergency vehicles this morning, so the carnage has obviously begun.

Record Heat Today
It will be a very hot day but that changes tomorrow, and Memorial Day will be quite pleasant though there might be thunderstorms here and there. Next week looks good, with mild temps and rain chances every day.
The air is very dry and it is breezy. That helps.

Hot Days, Cool Mornings, Mild Evenings
Rain chances are starting to increase. There are some heavy clouds around right now, in fact. Where it goes nobody knows.
To Mars! And beyond! Not.
