Top Secret

 Top secret research will be coming to Lubbock soon, according to recent news, and it will center on a technology center that used to be an Air Force flight training base. Interesting. Will Lubbock be a center of drone sightings? Will we have strange lights in the sky? Given the facilities available, and the long runways, I figure the research will center on unmanned aircraft. Texas Tech will be closely involved in this. I'm looking forward to it. We just might have our very own Area 51 type facility. 

We are really not that far from Roswell.

When I hear about a military parade I can't help but remember what happened to Anwar Sadat. It's just associative memory in action. Maybe such a parade is not the best idea. For a variety of reasons. 

Pleasant Weather Continues

 I'm back in the mode of wine on the patio in the late evening and coffee on the patio in the morning. Temps drop nicely after sunset and it is still cool in the morning. I continue to be where I want to be and do what I want to do. May it ever be so!

Meanwhile, the USA morphs into a North Korea. A North Korea with close ties to Saudi billionaires who happen to finance terrorists, and a Beloved Leader who cuts deals with drug cartels. Ah! Cloudy And Cool

It is cloudy and cool and humid this morning and looking a lot like rain, but the chances of rain according to forecast models are low. 

 I suppose the senile tinhorn dictator's parade will be televised but I won't be watching. A total waste of money. Maybe it will be "rained on". If anybody still admires and believes in that sack of shit, they must be brain dead. Hence the maggots.
