Looks like it and feels like it. It is a bleak and rather cold day and there could be very heavy cold rain later. The Mary Month of May is off to a strange start. We already had an overnight thunderstorm. I'm OK with the rain, not OK with the temps. Not OK with the wind.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

On The Cool Side
We are entering May with somewhat cool weather and continuing rain chances, with severe weather risks diminishing. It rained again yesterday and there was a severe risk associated with a storm that passed north of my location. This storm produced many low energy funnels that got folks worried.
Those funnels looked convincing enough. If I'd seen them I would have worried too!

More Rain Overnight
It seems to have been a pretty hard rain. More rain is likely. Some of the playa lakes are still not where they need to be, so a lot more rain is needed.
When this rainy spell is over, we're unlikely to get anything for a long time.

A Lot More Rain
I believe the area is under a flood watch. What a change!
Someday, it will be dead. That will be a time to rejoice!
