Not a drop. Chances remain, for rain on the plains. Slim to none, but, chances are chances.
Meanwhile, we are all experiencing the REIGN of SHIT FOR BRAINS.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

No rain here yesterday and the chances are even slimmer today. So I did the right thing by watering. It's cloudy though. And last night I noticed distant and feeble flashes of lightening, so far away that I heard no thunder.
50% chance, and after that diminishing. Maybe this afternoon and evening. I doubt it. I plan to water anyway. Skies right now are clear but there seems to be suspended dust. The air feels very dry.
Sunday turned out to be a good day to get some work done. Rain chances return tomorrow with some risk of hail. And so I prepared for that as well as I could. Soon I will be reaching back, way back, to times of yore, into the past, with old photos from my past. I am older than anyone might imagine!
This looks like it will be a rainy week, and it will be warming again. Nothing severe in the forecast either. For a long time I've had myself on a primarily mediterranean diet, but I'm going to include more Asian and Indian cuisine. Curcumin, Turmeric, Chutney, Ginger, and Curry will be more in use. I'll limit "meat" to fish and chicken. Eggs, of course, in moderation. Plenty of rice, too. I'll phase out red meat entirely, and that should be easy since I never ate much of that anyway. We had rain overnight, a fair amount. Still quite cool though, with a strong north wind. Temperatures like these in late April are obscene. But nature is a thing without a brain-- a sort of machine. And I think (ha ha) the human brain is simply part of that machine, and of no more significance than a dust mote. In fact, I think everything that exists, that has ever existed and ever will exist is of no significance whatsoever. Think of it as the fine structure of nothingness. A bit paradoxical there, yes?
You should think of the totality of being as a huge collection of random numbers. Some are positive and some are negative, and the grand total is precisely ZERO.
