Yesterday we had light rain and it stayed cloudy most of the day. Plenty of sunshine this morning.
Later this week we might have a lot of rain again. It looks like the recent rains have not been good for the cotton farmers.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

A friend who lives not far from me had five inches in her rain gauge, and so did her neighbor. My rain gauge got smashed to bits in a hail storm several years ago and I never replaced it, but I'm sure I got that much. And it looks like another rainy day. And that's not what was in yesterday's forecast at all. Quick change again. Yesterday, NO chance of rain today or tomorrow, and today began cloudy and wet. With the climate veering toward chaos, it's hard to make accurate forecasts.
Lots of rain yesterday! We needed that rain! We got that rain! It was great! Most of the area had lots of rain! That was good! It came at a good time of year!
Great evening as the norther moved in, and it was a great morning to work outside, so I did. Incremental improvements and adjustments here and there, some necessitated a trip to Home Depot. I'm considering options for next year. I've finally got hardy vines growing and there's plenty of stuff for those vines to use as trellises.
Spring-like weather yesterday, which meant that dust was in the air. Same again today but not so hot. Not what I like to see in October. Saturday rain? I expect those rain chances to diminish. Maybe finally some seasonal temperatures? That would surprise me as well. Hotter and hotter, more and more screwed up. A climate catastrophe unfolds in slow motion. Are you ready for Giga-death?? Think you'll be one of the survivors?
