Despite yesterday's heat it felt good outside around sundown, and after. It'll be hotter today but relief tomorrow and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday will be about normal with decent chances for afternoon and evening showers. I have strategies for coping and minimizing my electric bill. Dense vegetation helps quite a lot.
But there were overnight storms that brought enough rain to negate any need for me to water this evening. Plenty of thunder and lightning too. Today it should be hot again but also quite windy, and the clouds are hanging around. Tough to say how accurate the forecast will be. How hot it will actually be, whether we will receive more rain. A very mystery! I rather like mystery. It is sometimes very boring when questions are answered, especially when the answers are simple-minded. I like complexity as well as mystery. But no complexity in my day to day life, please. No complications. Let all be copacetic.
But the dry air made it not uncomfortable and it was very nice out last evening. I spent hours outside. This morning is it is cloudy and cool and breezy. Very pleasant.
Dry air. Some relief tomorrow and maybe rain chances by the weekend. The ground is still wet from the last round of rain. But I did do a little watering yesterday since most of what I've got responds well to high soil moisture. I'm not all that concerned about some areas. SOSO. I like that.
I guess that string had to end sometime. Summer heat today and tomorrow and drying out again. But cool mornings continue. That's going to be the best time to get work done. Nice enough outside last evening. Very pleasant, in fact. I'm surrounded by good spaces and nature, a closed green environment for my pleasure. It would be better to have the nearest neighbors miles away, but you can't have everything.
