I can't complain very much about the weather, as nothing extreme is going on, and it didn't get as cold as forecast. It should be a pretty nice weekend. Avian flu in this state is beginning to look somewhat ominous. Will Texas be the epicenter for a new pandemic? I hope not. But we must wait and see. There WILL be a new pandemic but who knows when? And where the outbreak will take place?
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

A Little Norther
We are not yet done with northers. But I think we are in the clear as far as freezes go. That's good because I would not like to see vegetation damaged, now that everything outside is turning green. Green is good.
We actually got a bit of rain yesterday afternoon, and it was just enough to free me from the need to water today.

Super Fine Morning!
No wind, high humidity, cloudy, very mild temps. Morning coffee on the patio felt great. I spend more and more time outside. This weekend I'll probably go shopping for plants. Get some stuff in the ground and hope it all survives the inevitable beatings. Frankly, the things that thrive in our climate are all invasive weeds!

Terrific Weather!
What a weekend! So much turning green. Dense growth and looking good. I've set up a private environment that strongly reminds me of a certain period in my childhood.

Mostly Cloudy
It's very hard to believe that we will reach 80 F today but that is what the forecast has. I could do with more sunshine.
