Heavy Dew!

Yes! Heavy dew this morning! And plenty of sun! SO much accomplished yesterday and so much done this morning! And it all adds up to steady incremental improvements to my environment. Satisfactory.

The KISS principle works well for me. Eschew complications. Establish routines. Exercise! KISS=EEE

Rain Overnight!

It was not a very heavy rain but a nice dose of moisture to keep things green. I got lots done yesterday, much more than I anticipated. Things just fell into place, and I like that.

Lots Of Rain

We've had so much rain over the past few days, it's become a nuisance. But that's how we usually get our rain, over a period of days rather than one quick downpour. When we do have that downpour it's usually mixed with hail, so I'd rather have this sort of prolonged rain event. But rain chances diminish as the day goes on and maybe we get some clearing tomorrow. I sure hope so. It's been days since we've had any sunshine. Too gloomy and too soggy. Can't do much of anything outside.

This afternoon I'll try getting some basic supplies.

A Little Winter Today

The wind is unpleasant but it is not that cold, and it won't get below freezing, and although we might have light rain over the next few days, there is no wintery precipitation in our forecast, or any severe weather. That is not bad at all, compared to what other areas are experiencing. We've dodged a number of bullets this year. I have no need to work outside today. I will only venture out for routine errands and activities.

Spring Break is almost over, thank goodness. I think that's a bad idea.

Dusty

It was warm yesterday but the wind was strong enough to put a haze of dust in the air. Even so I got stuff done outside. Step by step I shape things up.

I've been retired a long time. The thought of working at a job until I die is repulsive. I'm quite happy to be master of my time, and under no one's thumb. I've been free of the "world of work" for over twenty years. Pure bliss! Escape from wage slavery should be everyone's goal. Of course, if you have a true vocation, if you love your work, it's a different story. I never had that experience. My goal was to escape, as early as possible, and I'm fortunate to have been able to do that.
