A Norther Is On The Way!

 It'll cool things off a bit, for a while. We'll not have a freeze. It should be quite pleasant.

Lentils and rice today, with fried potatoes mixed in, topped with sour cream. I need to use all that old stuff up. It'll be very tasty. Pasta tomorrow, probably, as conditions will be good to prepare that. Meatballs and sauce to top it. 

More Work Done This Morning

 Steady progress. It's warm today but a cool down of some significance begins soon. I am prepared.

In any case, it cools off rapidly after sunset.

The News IS Depressing

 But the whole of human history is depressing. The current conflicts are simply more of the same. Religion is obviously shit, at least the monotheistic variety. I wonder how various modern messianic Jews are dealing with this war? Supposedly, the stage was set, the work was done, and the messiah could arrive at any time. Move the goal posts? Rationalize? Or will the expectations become even more fevered? Any minute now! And then you have the rapture enthusiasts. I hope they are holding their breath. Count to a billion...

It's Another FINE Morning here.

 Obviously not so fine elsewhere but I've been avoiding the world outside my own boundaries. Of interest? Of course. And if it's out in space it's of very great interest. If it has anything to do with the sciences, it's of great interest. But in most cases I see no need for any sort of emotional response.

Super October Weather!

 It doesn't get much better. 

I've made lots of progress with clearing. I have some kind of vine springing up now, and I have no idea what it is. Bindweed? I might let that run rampant.
