We actually got about a tenth of an inch of rain a couple of days ago. I never noticed. It happened at night, I was asleep, and by early morning there wasn't enough moisture left to make any impact. Pathetic.
This blog is an ARTISTIC regional photo journal. I focus on mundane scenes. ANY AND ALL STATEMENTS I MAKE HERE ARE MY OPINONS ONLY! I OFFER NOTHING WHATSOEVER AS A STATEMENT OF FACT! The photographs are offered as ARTISTIC EXPRESSION ONLY! They are not representative of anything other than themselves. Most of the places mentioned here have surely changed substantially since they were visited. Check my list of recommended sites at the bottom of this blog!

It's More Wintery
I guess that had to happen, that more seasonal temperatures would return. Darn. It's interesting that I feel more and more disconnected from life and enjoy that feeling more and more. Let's have more of THAT. Eventually something will happen and the status quo will be disturbed. Then I'll have to "deal with it" until equilibrium is restored. I get really bent out of shape by that sort of perturbation. I hate it, in fact.

Not Many Views
I never did have very many views but the number is declining lately. In my opinion popularity is a sign that you are doing something stupid. Stupid has mass appeal. This blog was always for my amusement and it gives me a way to archive stuff and stroll down that old memory lane. As I grow older I seem to be getting more and more snobbish and reclusive. Well, it's something to do, and it's cheap. This will be another windy day, but not what you would call cold. Again, well above freezing this morning. Probably dust in the air again, but at least it isn't snow. I hate snow. Rain would be nice but that's not going to happen. DRY! It was mostly cloudy yesterday but this morning it is mostly clear and ought to stay that way. Give me sunshine!
The word for the day is: stasis.

Maybe Rain?
Up to a tenth of an inch! Maybe. And maybe a light dusting of snow/sleet a few days after that. Our temps have been well above normal for the time of year. Good. Well above normal sounds fine to me. That rain forecast means that a few scraps and shreds of what hit California are on the way to us. Since you can't have any REAL rain here without a barrage of hail and damaging winds, I'd just as soon have no rain at all. Screw it. It's just no fun being victimized by a mindless force of nature. That happens all too often. In fact, that's life. Isn't it?

Cloudy, Windy, Dusty Yesterday
Cloudy and windy and dusty are on the agenda again today. Live in this area and you have chronic sinus problems.
But I'd rather have the dust than snow or ice. And temperatures are really mild!
