A Covid Exposure

I've had both Moderna vaccinations and two boosters, the last one was the bivalent a few months ago. But I've had a definite exposure and we'll see how it goes. I've ordered a bunch of free test kits from the postal service and will test myself at intervals. So far I feel fine and it's been over a week, going on two weeks. I have my temperature taken three days a week at my gym and it's always a bit below "normal". Probably, as some doctors are saying now, we will all get some form of the virus, and the question is: how severe it will be. Some people still refuse vaccination, and that's amazing to me. The unvaccinated, especially if they are over 65 and/or have some other health condition, play with fire.

Nothing Drastic

After that wintery blast earlier, things really have settled down here. No rain likely but if we got rain we would also have hail and damaging winds to go with it, so no rain is fine. It was a bit windy yesterday and we had a little dust in the air but not much by our standards. It's going to be a bit cooler for a couple of days but nothing drastic.

Windy? Blowing Dust?

It might be windy and dusty later but right now it is cloudy and calm. Whatever happens, it isn't at all cold and won't be. I got a lot of work done outside yesterday, an important first step.

The Holidays Over At Last

For 2022 the holidays are finally over, that end-of-year clot. I won't have to deal with that for a while. But that big wheel keeps on turning, doesn't it. Round and round we go, and so on. VERY mild weather today! Feels great. Work done outside yesterday, but I'm far from finished with that.

What can you do, eh?

New Year's Eve

Big event for drunks, unfortunately. I wouldn't be out tonight for any reason. Drunk drivers. Nice weather though.

In the last few days there have been a lot of multiple car pile-ups. Getting ready for crash and bash night? An early onset of celebration frenzy? Count me out.
